ACI 301, "Specifications (or Structural Concretc Buildings". <br /> B. ACI 318; "Building Code Requirements for Rcinforced Concrete". <br /> C. Comply with applicable provisions except as otherwise indicated. <br /> 1.2 QUALITY CONTROL: Perfortn sampling and testing during concrete placement, as follows: <br /> 1. Sampling: ASTM C 172. <br /> 2. Slump: ASTM C 143, one of test for each load at point of discharge. <br /> I. Air Content: AS7'M C 173, one for wch set of compressive strength <br /> specimens. <br /> 2. Compressive Strength: ASTM C 39, one set for each 50 cu. yds. or fraction <br /> thereof of each class of wncrete; one specimen tested at 7 days, one specimen <br /> tested at 28 daya, end one retained for later testing if requircd. <br /> 3. When the total quantiry of a given class of wncrete is less than 50 cu. yds., <br /> Architxt may waive atrcngth tests if field experience indicates evidence �f <br /> satiafactory atrength. <br /> B. Test results will be reported in writing ro Engineer, Contractor, and concrete producer <br /> within 24 hours after tests are made. <br /> I3 SUBMITTALS: <br /> A. Submit the following: <br /> �• Manufacturet'a data with Instaliation instructions for proprietary materials <br /> including reinforccment and forming accessories, admixtures,joint materials, <br /> hardmers, curing materials, and others as requated by Enginar. <br /> 2. Laboratory test or evaluation reporta for wncrete materials and mix desi�i�s. <br /> B. Submit shop drawinqs for: <br /> 1..Reinforcing Steel <br /> 2.
