Deliver all materiais in original sealed containers or bundles with labels and <br /> insctiptions Iegible and intact, and informing about manufacturer, product name and <br /> designation, color;expiration period for use, pot life, curing time, and mixing <br /> instructions for multicomponent materials. <br /> B. Store all materials in areas suitable to prevent deterioration ot damage due to <br /> moisture, high or low temperatures, contaminants, or other causes. <br /> I <br /> L6 PROJECT CONDITIONS: <br /> A. Environmental Conditions: <br /> I. Do not proceed with installation of joint sealers under the following <br /> conditions: <br /> a. When ambient and substrate temperature conditions are outside the <br /> limits pertnitted by joint acaler manufacturer or below 40°F (4.4°C). <br /> b. When joint substratu are wet due to rain, frost, condensation, or <br /> other causes. <br /> B. Joint Width Conditioi�s: Do not proceed with installation cf joint sealers where join. <br /> wldths ate less than allowed by joint sealer manufacturer for application indicated. <br /> C. Joint Substrate Conditions: Do not proceed wilh installation of Joint aealers until <br /> conteminants capable of interfering with their adhesion are removed from joint <br /> substrates. <br /> D. Proceed with application only when forecasted wwther conditions are favorable for <br /> proper cure and development of bond strength. <br /> PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> 2.i GENERAL: <br /> A. Use only materiala.which are new and from unopened containers. <br /> B. Jolnt sealer for joints in portland cement concrete shall be Dow-Coming 888, Joint <br /> sealer betwan portland cement concrote and asphalt concrete pavement shali be Dow- <br /> Coming 890-SL self leveling silicone sealant. <br /> C.
