The separator shall be furnished with a removable coalescer. The <br /> coalescer ahall be designed to intercept oil particles of less than <br /> 20 microns in aize and produce an effluent quality of less than 10 <br /> ppm of oil and grease. The coalescer shall be housed in a <br /> stainless ateel frame with a lifting hook and arm for easy removal <br /> • through a rectangular manway complete with required extension, <br /> cover, gasket and bolts. <br /> 2. The separator shall be furnished wlth a waste oil alarm and <br /> pump-out system consisting of: <br /> e. An interface/level probe for alarm and control of inlet valve, <br /> with intrinaically safe solid-state controls in a NEHA 4 <br /> enclosure with a 120-volt ac rating. <br /> b. A 70 gpm, 40 psi self-priming positive displacement pump with a <br /> - 3,0 hp explosion-proof motor, 460 V, 3 phase for fuel pump out. <br /> 1 Pump start shall be manual and atop ahall be automatic on oil <br /> lavel reduction to 50 gallons. Pump shall be manufactured by <br /> BLacl�er or approved equal. <br /> 3. Provida a motor-operated oil stop valvn on tha inlet of the <br /> separator as indicatad. Valve shall have a 1/4-hp motor, 120 V ac, <br /> 1 phase, mounted within a NEMA 4 enclosura. Power for valve shall • <br /> be providad by 480-120V tranaforner loca: to control panel. <br /> a. Interface level probes ahall be aet so that an alarm ie given <br /> when tha oil capacity reaches 6,OOfi± gallons, and the inlet <br /> valve ie cloeed at maximum oil capacity. <br /> b. Provide two factory-inatalled limLt awitchea that detact valve <br /> posi[ion. Eac} switch ahall have one double-pole, double-tyro�� <br /> contacta, and ahall be vatertight dnd UL-Listed for Clasa 1, <br /> Group D hazardous areas. <br /> 4. Provide local NEMN 4 control panel rated for installation with <br /> provision for accapting a single, 480V, 3 phasa povar supply and <br /> tranaforming as required for: etart/stop pump control (all pumpa), <br /> powar on, pump run and alarm indicator lights, aervica disconnect, <br /> motor atarters and control tranaformac. Control Panel shall have <br /> four aets of SYDT, dry contacts ratad for SA at 120V ac. Contacta <br /> shall be as follovs: <br /> a. High Level: 1 aet of N.O. contacts. <br /> b. Inlet Valve Opan: 1 eet of N.O. contacts. <br /> c. Inlet Valva Cloaed: 1 aet of N.O. contacta. <br /> `� d.
