Tighten all tank conneceion fittings. <br /> 2. Soap entire tank and fittings. <br /> 3. Prnasuriza the tank vith (air/vatet) to no more than S paig and <br /> visually inapect fot leaka. <br /> a. Use an air gauge vith ona-pound increments ea that changea in <br /> prassnre can be easily observed. <br /> b. Retighten all lesking fittinge until auch leakage ie etopped. <br /> c. All demaged ereas on the tank whlch ere found to ba leaking <br /> shall be brought to the attention of the manufacturer's <br /> inatallation �eptesen[ativn. The manufactuzer's representative <br /> ahall submit the propoaed repair method to BOEING for review <br /> and acceptance. <br /> d. Test shall not ba conaideted complete until pranaure has been <br /> maintained for tvo hours during vhich no leaka are detected. <br /> 4. Tanka vhich have been repaired and thoae which have been dropped or <br /> { ispacted aftar test shall be reteated. Tanks shall continue to be <br /> j � reteated until a succeasful leakage teat 1a obtained. <br /> E. At laast five daya vt�itten notica �hall bn givan BOEING for acceptanca <br /> test to provide time to arrange for immedi�ta fill of buried tanks <br /> after tasting is complete. No liquid ahall be put into the tank until <br /> sufficiant backfill naterial has been placed outaide to aupport it. <br /> Under no circumatancae ehall liquid bn put into thn tank to a laval <br /> sbove the backfill height at any tiue during ths lnstalletion. <br /> F. Tank Coating Tasting Procedure: <br /> 1. Ttte Contractot shall make a detailad inapection with a high voltage <br /> holiday teater of all tank coatings and joint coatinga preceding <br /> the lowering of the tank. <br /> 2. Holiday-tester voltage shall not be higher ehan tha sanufacturer's <br /> tecommanded voltage for the coating teated. Tasting shall ba for <br /> holidays only and not to teet the dielectric atrength of tha <br /> coating materiala. <br /> 3. All holidays and demaged or brokan places in the coating ehall be <br /> repeired in a worlanenlike uanner at tha Contraetor'a expense using <br /> ehe methods epecified for field-applied external prntective pipe <br /> coating end procedure in SECTION 09900. <br /> G.
