In simplification of the watersheds, an attempt was made
to isolate pervious and impervious areas and treat each
as a separate watershed area. However, there were two
basin areas (Basin 1 and Basin 3) where an impervious
area drained into a pervious biofiltration swale. In both
of these cases the pervious and impervious areas
discharged to a common point and were considered as
hydraulically connected.
4.0 RESULTS OF ANALYSIS FOR PRE -DEVELOPED CONDITIONS
The results of the hydrologic analysis performed for each
basin area are given in the following Section 4.0.A and
4.0.B. The results from the "Runoff" block producing the
results in this section are Oiven in Appendices A and B.
A. EVALUATION OF NORTHWEST BASIN AREA
The northwest basin area, shown on Drawing NO. SK-C1.0,
has a total watershed area of 3.44 acres, all of which is
comprised of a pervious surface. The point of summation
(point of analysis) was selected based on the expected
outfall location during developed conditions. The results
are presented in Table 2.
B
