Box 3707 <br />Seattle, WA M24-2207 <br />October 14, 1991 <br />4-7300-KWG91-E-146 <br />Ken Howe <br />City of Everett <br />Public Works Department <br />Subject: Revised Paving Plan for the 40-06 Building Area. <br />B""AKW References: Lockwood Green Informational Layout Dated 10-14-91 <br />City of Everett Approved Drawings C80, C81, C62 <br />Boeing has evaluated the cost and environmental Impact of relocating the excess soil <br />Pile located In the final location of the Perimeter road west of fulure building 40-06 as <br />shown on the EIS Master Plan. Per our original plan this Is required to support the <br />approved 40.04 building construction and has been found to be not necessaril the <br />best course of acticrX Boeing Is currently reworking the design for this area t ro rade <br />v su aces .shown to the West of the 40.06 building for the paving of the <br />building foot print itself (The paving west of the 40.96 Is shown on the approved <br />Japanese Gulch Detention Basin Permit Dra:angs and 40-04 Building Permit <br />Ir Drawings). The new design will Incolprrate the following specific items to facilitate <br />Implementing this change with no negative envitonmental Impacts. <br />O No addhioml Impervious surface will be aJded above what Is shown on the <br />approved Japanese Gulch Detention Ba,iln Calculations. <br />O The Biofiltration $wales will be modified to properly accommodate the runoff <br />from this paved area. <br />O Paving and Road design will be in accordance with the City of Everett Codes <br />and Standard;; and the WSDOT standards. <br />Boeing has proceeded with grading and rocking this area per the approved drawings <br />and wishes to expedite the paving of this area during the good weather we are <br />currently experiencing. If the City of Everett will allow Installation of paving and <br />drainage of this area prior to final draw;ng review, Boeing will commit to reworking this <br />paving and/or drainage to the City's satisfaction when the final engineering drawings <br />are submitted.
