B. SOUTH DETENTION POND <br />The south detention pond is designed to provide storage <br />and peak runoff control for storm water runoff occurring <br />on the southern portion of the project site. The runoff <br />will enter the pond as shown on Drawing No. SK-C2.0. <br />The results of the peak rate inflow hydrograph for the <br />v <br />25YR-24HR storm event for this watershed is given in 7 �JIMP <br />,r <br />Table 6 of this report. Tom+ re- r_ o ovice-used foro'D $lye ye <br />the south '1,15i1Lis ar�or_itice control led standpipe. ���� °�/u��l�' <br />a 11-15/16.inch-diameter-orifice is-_used_as the primary h d <br />control derma. -This orifice is located at the bottom of <br />the standpipe with an effective design head of 3.0 feet. <br />An overflow outlet is provided by the 18-inch diameter <br />riser pipe. The riser pipe is open at the top and has an <br />invert elevation 3.0 feet from the bottom of the <br />temporary storage cell. Should the water surface <br />elevation in the pond exceed the design head of 3.0 feet, <br />the overflow orifice would serve to carry additional <br />flow. A rock lined, open channel emergency spillway will <br />be located on the southwest portion of the pond. The <br />crest of the spillway will also be located 3.0 feet from <br />the bottom of the temporary storage cell at the 492 feet <br />elevation.
