IRoof runotT caused by pluggecl gutters from the adjecent building <br /> created a wet soil condition in the south east comer of the site. An acceu roed borders the <br /> eastem side of the site and a cinder block building borders the southcro side of the lot. Prior to <br /> this investigation a residential house was IocateA on the site end wac tom down in enticipation of <br /> the new construction. <br /> 3.2 Ara Gcology <br /> According to the Geolagic Mep of Weshington - Northwest Quadrant, published by the <br /> Washington State Department of Netural Resources, the grnbgy of the site consisU of Till <br /> (Qgt); an unsorted, unstratified, highly compacted mixture of clay, silt, sand, gravel, end <br /> boulders deposited by glacial ice. Till may contain intttbedded stratified sand,silt,and gravel. <br /> Field observations indicate the site conditions are consistent with area geology sources; however, <br /> no boulders or gravcl were observed at the test pit locations. Regardless, large boulders and/or <br /> grnvel may still be encountered during the cxca�•ution process. <br /> 3-1 � <br /> '1/" <br />
