November 3.2003 OSB268 3.G Site Description 3.1 Genenl DescripNoe The project site is located at the cumer of Cedar Strat a�id 33"° Sveet in Everett, Wuhington (see location map). 71�e site is levcl and was in the process of being clearcd end stripped at the time of this investigation. IRoof runotT caused by pluggecl gutters from the adjecent building created a wet soil condition in the south east comer of the site. An acceu roed borders the eastem side of the site and a cinder block building borders the southcro side of the lot. Prior to this investigation a residential house was IocateA on the site end wac tom down in enticipation of the new construction. 3.2 Ara Gcology According to the Geolagic Mep of Weshington - Northwest Quadrant, published by the Washington State Department of Netural Resources, the grnbgy of the site consisU of Till (Qgt); an unsorted, unstratified, highly compacted mixture of clay, silt, sand, gravel, end boulders deposited by glacial ice. Till may contain intttbedded stratified sand,silt,and gravel. Field observations indicate the site conditions are consistent with area geology sources; however, no boulders or gravcl were observed at the test pit locations. Regardless, large boulders and/or grnvel may still be encountered during the cxca�•ution process. 3-1 � '1/"
