C1

James Dowd
 rxi omni Construction
N~ 11122 99th Ave. NE
 o Arlington, WA 9822J
H
RE: Landscaping deficiencies for 1312 Chestnut
H
 H Dear Mr. Dowd:
N
b y Upon recent inspection of the above property, it has come to
t+ our attention that the landscaping for this site has not
M been installed in accordance with the approved landscape j
'y plan. The following deficiencies must be corrected prior to 4
the Planning Department's approval for Occupancy Permits.
1. Along the South property line, the pyramidalis trees
were only permitted to be used if planted in clusters
of 3 or more. A minimum of 6 more trees (9 total) are
required to meet- the minimum requirement.
  2. The required groundcover must be planted alonq the f
entire southern property line. Currently, only about
one-half of the southern landscape strip has the
required groundcover plantinqs.
'" 3. Approximately 90 of the required shrubs planted for
the entire site are dead and must be replaced.
'a.. , Additionally, the required amount of shrubs (5 per 100
I square feet of landscaped area) has not been met
anywhere on the site.

' 4 . Pyramidalis trees are not allowed to be used for the
—' — required trees along the north property line.
Deciduous trees such as Acer palmatum or Acer
circinatum were approved for use in these areas. The
pyramidalis trees must either be replaced with '
appropriate trees (minimum 11/2" caliper) , or the i
deciduous trees must be added in with the existing
! pyramidalis trees to correct this.

5. The required street tree (to be planted alon the
frontage) has not been planted. Again, pyramidulis is
not an acceptable tree for this purpose.
,, The parking area has not been striped.
Lora6on. 2731 Wetmoie Avenue
CITV OF EVERETT• 30D2 Welmore• EveretL WA 90201 • (20G) 259-8731 • Fax (206) 2598742 • ScanJ238731
!

i
