The letter described conditions of the buildings and the premises located at the property. The letter further required the owner's immediate attention in correcting the conditions. On September 17, 1987, the letter was returned to me by the Postal Department with a stamp indicating that there was no forwarding address, and the Postal Service could not for�ard the letter. After contacting Ci•alg Fullerton, of Public Works, I was able to obtain the �ame of saneone in Burlington Northern and an address to forward the letter to. The letter was sent registered mail, return receipt requested, once again. This time, we made contact on September 22. On September 23, 1987, Mr. JoM Maher of Burlington Northern called me. Mr. Maher indicated that he already had two bids for demolition of the structure I and clearing of the prq�erty. He said there was a new leasee whan may take over the property end do the necessary work. At any rate, he indicated that something would be done by the end of this week and there would be definite action within a month.
