Thanlc you very much for your response and interest in this safety hazard that exists mainly for pedestrian traffic in this right of way and alley. £red mentioned on the phone that he thought this area was not in the city of Everett at the time of the construction of the retaining wall. i;;:. , 'lfie owners of the property� Mr. Harry Davidson and Mr. Ancil Davis� our insureds� have done some checking� and acoording to the informati�n they have obtained from City Hall� the area was annexed to the City of Everett in 18951 This property was developed and the retaining wall put in about 1963� when the nice building was constructed by Mr. Hans Solie� the foxmez owner and also a general contsactor and businessman. Undoubtedly a buildinq pex�nit was issued about that time by the City of Everett. It would appear that if this is the case� the City of Everett has some responsibiltty for the hazard that exists in the 7 foot drop off rxeated when the property was dev- � eloped in about 1963. It is my suggestion that you contact Mr. $avidson who offices it� the subject property to perhaps work out a joint solution to this problem. His phone n�unber is 2590276. � At the time this buildinq was const�ucted my office was in South Sverett in the South B5M Shopping Center.
