_ � / . � <br /> 1 . � � - � <br /> , <br /> 1 RESqLUTION N0. � 7"� 9 <br /> 2 A RF.SOLUTION authorizing the demolitlon of a building <br /> sltuated at 2224 Cleveland. <br /> 3 <br /> 4 WHEREAS, the Building Official has found that the bullding which <br /> � ' is located at 2224 r,leveland is a substandard structure based upon the <br /> ;,5 <br /> 6 standards set forth 1n the Unlform Housing Code; and <br /> � 61HERF.AS, the Buildlnq Official has found that the building is <br /> a dangerous pursuant to the standards set forth in the Uniform Code for the <br /> 9 Abatement of Oan�erous Buildings; and <br /> 10 NHEREAS, the Buildinq nfficial issued an Order requesting the <br /> I1 oWner of the property to make the necessary repalrs or to Aemolish the <br /> 12 buildings; and <br /> l3 41HEf1EA5, the required repairs or demolltion have not taken place <br /> 14 as was required in the Order which was duly served upon the owner of the <br /> IS �roperty; and <br /> 16 WHEREAS, the City Council finds the Building Official has the• <br /> » authority to recommend thls action pursuant to the Uniform flousing Code; <br /> �B and <br /> WHEREAS, the Lity f.ouncil finds that the ownr..r of the property <br /> 19 <br /> 20 has been given notice of this Council meeting; and <br /> WHEREAS, the C1ty f,ouncil finds that there has been no appeal of <br /> 21 <br /> the Qrder issued by the Duilding Oificlal and that the appeal period has <br /> 22 <br /> expired; and <br /> 23 I <br /> uNEREAS, the City f,ouncil , upon due consideration, deems it in <br /> 24 I <br /> the best lnterest of the health, safety and welfare of the public that a , <br /> 25 ' <br /> resolution be adopted requiring demolltion of the buildlnn: I <br /> 26 <br /> NOW THF.REFORE, BE IT RESOLVF.D 8Y THE CITY OF EVERETT: <br /> 27 <br /> 5ection l .
