The Uniform Building Code <br /> provides that all permits expire by limitation if the work authorized by the permit is <br /> suspended or abandoned at any time aher work is commenced for a period of 180 days. If you <br /> wish to prevent the permit from expiring without documentation of completion, you may: <br /> 1) Request an inspeaion of work that haz occurred, to documenr continuing progress, <br /> or 2) Request final inspection if the work is completed, <br /> or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br /> Please respond within 10 days. After that time the file will be sent to our Records <br /> Deparcment for microfilming without final approval.
