By fall we had not heard anothet word from your office nor hae enything been done to clean up thie lot. We hed our lot aprayed last summer by Cancade Spraying to get rid of the bleck- berry vinea on aur lo[ but we cen't keep them off [he lot with the mesa next door. Ve asked you that sinee branches from the ttees on that lo[ were awishing on the roof of our house and hanging over into our back yatd if ve could eut off thoae branches and you eaid it was o.k. Recently out older daughter was !n the back yard pulling grass from thc base of the fenee when a rat came from the li[tered lot into our yatd, frightening hez half to death. Thia ian't the firs[ [ime we have hed rats in our yard, we have seen them go from the lot ecrose our yerd and into the netghbor's yatd to the north of us. Also, we have seen rats run out in the alley. People in the back� actosa [he alley, have dumped ro[ting apples in Chnt lot; a tub and toilet have been dumped on the lot� end recently someone dumped aome fencinq. Each year the slugs :nove from that lot in hordes and spread e slimey mess across our back yard. Ve have a seven-yeer old child who woutd like to play in [he back yard but ve cannot allow it unless an adult is with her, hecause of the rodente and vermin coming from :het lot.
