Techmcally, the�c permits are expiring. I would appreciate your assistance in cluifying the status of these permits. Some are surely finished, and we just need to schedule inspection to document final approvals. Others, if they are for work that is continuing, need either an inspection report documenting progress, or a formal request for extension of the permits so that they do not expire. T'he Uniform Buitding Code provides that a(1 permits exp�re by limitation if the work authorized by the permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after work is commenced for a period of 180 days. Enclosed in this packet, you will find the list of outstanding permits, which includes brief descriptions of the work permitted under each, the contractor named on the permit, and the date of the last requested inspection. Also enclosed is a copy of each listed permit and its inspections. I am prepared to send a copy of this letter, the list, and the relevant permits and inspections to each contractor. Tluough this whole long process of permitting the Bceing expansion, your help with the permits has been invaluable--your courtesy, especially, has been appreciated!
