The overhead crane mafntenance platforms <br /> called �ueen Mary are used to perform maintenance on the bridge. Frequent <br /> repairs are needed to adJust the power and controi conductors to ellow safe <br /> transfer oi carrier shoes along the conductor bar. Adding guards to the contact <br /> conductors will make these repairs very di�cult. <br /> It is hereby requested that a variance be granted to allow the conductors to be <br /> exposed for ease in the required meintenance.
