Box 3707 Seattle, WA 98124 SUBJECT: OUSTANDING PERMITS E 39zo I Dear L.conard: In a recent review of Bceing permits still on our shelves in active-permit status, I compiled a list of permits which have had no request for inspection within the last 180 days. Teclwually, these permits are expiring. I would appreciate your assistance in clazifying the status of these ; permits. Some are surely fu�ished, and we just need to schedule inspection to document final approvals. Others, if they are for work that �s continuing, need either an inspecdon ceport documenting progress, or a formal request for extension of the percnits so that they do not . expire. The Uniform Building Code provides that all permits expae by limitation tf the wotk authorized by the permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after work is commenced for a period of 180 days. Enclosed in this packet, you will find the list of outstanding permits, which includes brief descriptions of the work permitted under each, the contractor named on the permit, and the date of the last requested u�spection. Also enclosed is a copy of each listed permit and its inspections. I am prepared to send a copy of this letter, the list, and the relevant permits and inspections to each contractor. Through this whole long process of permitting the Boeing expansion, your help widi the permits has been invaluable--your courtesy, especially, has been appreciated!
