Technically, these permits are expiring. I would appreciate your assistance in clazifyu�g the status of these permits. Some are surely finished, and we just need to schedule inspectiun to document final approvals. Others, if they are for work that is continun�g, need either zn inspection report ducumenting progress, or a formal request for extension of the permits so that they do not expire. The Uniform Building Code provides that all permits expire by limitation if the work authorized by the permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after work is commenced for a period of 180 days. Enclosed in this packet, you will find the list of outstanding permits, which includes brief descriptioas of the work permitted under each, the contractor named on the permit, and the date of the last requested icupection. Also enclosed is a copy of each listed permit and iu inspections. I am prepared to send a copy of this letter, the list, and the relevant permits and iaspections to each contractor. Through this whole long process of permitting the Bceing expansion, your help with the permits has been invaluable--your courtesy, especially, has been appreciated!
