Thase notes are
pretty much directly out of the mitiqation requirements for
areas which contain moisture sensitiva soila.
,
 1) Site disturbance in areae of moisture sensitive soils
must ha limited, where possible, by using tracked equipment.
 2) Standinq water must be removed from surface areas prior
, to excavation.
 3) Temporary slopes within native glacial soils must be
limited to a maximum angle of 1/2H: 1V. i.=mporzry fill
slopes must be limited to a maximum anqle of 1H: 1V.
 .
4) Temporary slopes must be covered with an impermeable
membrane, sucl as Visqueen, in oz•der to prevent erosion of
iI the slopes.
I '
• In addition the mitigation document r:quires two additional
items that Boeing may or may not have prepared at this time.
The items are:
1) A qeotechnical report which identifies all faciliLias
which are proposed to be located on areas which contain
 potentially moisture sensitive soils.
2) A plan to maximize the extent to which soils which
become diFturbed, and which are above their optimum moisture
content, are allowed to dry to within their optimum moisture
content and to be recompacted on-site, and ninimize the
extent that such soils will be removed from the construction
site.
