OPPAO <br /> ;it::':.e <br /> EVERETT CITY COUNCIL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 5595 <br /> A Resolution related to the removal of Block 248 from the Donovan District, concurring <br /> with the Historical Commission's recommendation related to moving the homes and <br /> approval of a Waiver of Certificate of Appropriateness to allow demolition of the houses <br /> owned by Providence Everett Medical Center in Block 248 <br /> WHEREAS the City of Everett has a desire to work with Providence Everett Medical Center and <br /> the community in the provision of health , cities in Snohomish County, citizens of Everett, and <br /> property owners, businesses, neighborhood groups and other organizations, and <br /> WHEREAS the City of Everett accepted an application for changes to the Comprehensive Plan <br /> Land Use map and related rezones, and <br /> WHEREAS the Everett Historical Commission held a public hearing on March 9, 2005, and <br /> WHEREAS the Everett Historical Commission developed findings, conclusions, and <br /> recommendations related to Block 248 of the Donovan District, and <br /> WHEREAS Providence Everett Medical Center—PEMC - submitted a request to the City of <br /> Everett for three actions: <br /> 1. Removal of Block 248 from the Donovan District. Historical Commission <br /> recommendation on this issue will go to City Council for decision. <br /> 2. Approval of a Certificate of Appropriateness to move some or all of the Donovan District <br /> houses owned by PEMC off site. Historical Commission recommendation on this issue <br /> will go to the Mayor for decision. <br /> 3. Approval of a Waiver of Certificate of Appropriateness to allow demolition of the houses <br /> owned by PEMC if Block 248 remains within the Donovan District boundaries.
