., � �� SCOPE OF WORK� CAS RELOCATION JOB #991 CAS The Purpose of this job is to relocate and consolidate "CAS" (Commercial Avionics Systems) from the 18-234 and the 7-119 buildings. The relocation/consolidation will be done in two phases. Phase 1 wili be the relocation of CAS from the 18-234 building in Kent ta the 40-81 building in �, Everett, and Phase 2 will be to relocate the CAS operation from the 7-119 building and consolidate them in the 40-81 building with the other CAS operations. Phase 1 will happen in 1999 and Phase 2 is scheduled for 2000. The phasing of the project should create design considei�tion as to not effect the CAS operations from phase 1 with the conswction of Phase 2. Tl�e project is Not funded for Cap;tal Equipment purchases. Phase 1 scope of svork contains hut is not limited to the scope of work listed below. The phay�e 1 scope of work will be to relocate 8.5 K of lab space and 70 hc:ads of o�ce sitters from the 18-234 building to the 40-81 building. (1) In urder for Phase 1 to happen in the 40-81 building we will have to relocate the employee's out of the NE& NW bays of the 40-81 building, and remove the poolstock fumiture and systems fumiture. (2) Remove the carpet from the entire raised floor azea, then clean and reseal the dled area. (3) Erect 180 Liner Feet of Demountable wall partitions. (4) Insta(I a firebreak under the raised floor area as indicated on the coded layouts. (5) Install a CO2 fire suppression system under the raised floor area indicated on the coded layouts to support the use of sircraft wiring cables. (6) Install Electrical: 120V, 208V/SOhz, 60hz, 400hz power as indicated in the attached layouts. (7) We will be relocating existing SOhz M/G set, plug panel sets, vacuum pumps, vacuum pump shutoff panels, power conditioners, and HVACMumidifiers. (8) Install Mechanical: vacuum pumps and piping as indiGated on the attached layout. (9) Install Mechanical: A compressed air line from the factory into the 40-81 building via tunnel access. Then provide compressed air into the areas indicated on the attached coded layout. (10) Mechanical provide HVAC/Humidifiers in the indicated location on the attached layout. The HVAC units will be required to maintain a temperature level of 68 to 78 degrees with a humidity level between 40- 60°b. (11) We I will be relocating exisdng electrical benches, desks, CRT's, tables, tote boxes, c�stomer equipment, and storage racks. (12) We will provide a file I server room with electrical and data drop requirements as indicated on the � coded layouts. (13) 'Ihe tile areas will require cutdng for under floor access. i � `i �
