<br /> fire Protection Engineering has the following response ta the
<br /> reference RFI for the sub,�ect building:
<br /> � 1. The minimum fire flow required by the 1991 Uniform Fire Code �t 20
<br /> � psi is 1500 gpm. This is b�sed on T�ble No. A-III-A-1 for Type
<br /> ,tr "> I-FR constructfon. The 1500 gpm takes into account a 75%
<br /> —� ; reduction as allowed for fully sprinklered buildings.
<br /> ��_� 2. The Kemper Insurance group conducted w�ter tests at the Everett
<br /> site on June �9, 1991. The �vail�ble flow �t the remote point on
<br /> �;;%,1/�� .Sn�.� the site (�0-02 Bullding, North slde) w�s found to be 3684 gpm at
<br /> �� .;�„ ,�,� �+,/;; a residual pressure of 137 psi. The static pressure w�s 156 psi .
<br /> ._ �.n= �,��� «G Two electric driven pumps (1500 gpn� euh) from the north pumphouse
<br /> 1�' � "f and one diesel pump (2500 gpm) fran the south pumphouse operated
<br /> y. ,-7i�' ��r,�?)r�.. during tMs test. Two hydrants (three 2-1/2 inch ports) were
<br /> �� ;«C flowed during this test. St�tic and residual pressure readings
<br /> �.• -��ti were taken from riser SV2-3. The pressure on the plant fire �na1n
