Technically, these permits are expiring. I would appreciate your assistance in clarifying the status of these : permits. Some are surely finished, and we just need to schedule inspection to document final approvals. Others, if they are for work thct is continuing, need either an inspection repoR documenting progress, or a formal request for extcnsion of the pertnits so that they do not expire. The Uniform Building Code provides that ail permits exp�re by timitation �f the work authorized by the permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after work is commenced for a period of 180 days. Enclosed in this packet, you will find the list of outstanding permits, which inctudes brief descriptions of the work permitted under each, the convactor named on the permit, and the date of the last requested inspection. Also enclosed is a copy of each listed permit and its inspections. I am prepared to send a copy of this letter, the list, and the relevant permits and inspections ro each convactor. Through this whole long process of permitting the Boeing expansion, your help with the permits has been invaluable--your courtesy, especially, has been appreciated!
