Tec}uiically, these permits are expiring. I would appreciate your assistancc in clarifying the status of these permits. Some are surely 6nished, and we just nced to schedule inspection to docun•ent final approvals. Others, if thcy are for work that is continuing, need either an itLspection repo�t documenting progres�, or a formal rcqucst for extension of Ihe perntits so that they do not expire. Thc Uniform Duilding Code provides that all permits expire by limitation if the work authorized by the permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after work is commenced for a periai of 180 days. Enclosed in this packet, you will find the list of ou[standing permits, which includes brief descriptions of the work permitted under each, thc contractor named on the pertnit, and die date uf the last requested inspection. Also enclosed is a copy of each listed pertnit and its inspections. I am prepared to send a copy of this letrer, the list, and the relevant permits and inspections to cach convactor.
