(ETI) to request
approval by the City of Everett as an independent testinq
laboratory for job site evaluation of non-i7L labeled equipment.
ETI is recognized as a qualified testinq laboratory in many
jurisdictions throughout the western United States. ETI has been
approved to perform similar evaluations by the State of
Washington, Department of Labor and Industries.
Job Site Location: Hoeing Everett, Fuel Dock F-4 , F-5
Equipment: Four (4) 15kV Class Disconnect Switch Assemblies
ETI Contact: Bob Ruxlow, ETI Seattle, (206) 562-0188
Enclosed are documents describing our procedures for equipment
evaluation. Additionally, enclosed is ETIs approved equipment
sticker to be applied when the equipment is found, through
inspection and testing, to meet recognized industry standards for
manufacturing. Final acceptance of any product or installation
is by the jurisdiction.
ETI normally becomes involved with equipment evaluations whenever
the local jurisdiction field inspector does not approve a piece
of equipment, and requests a third party certification. This
qenerally occurs with custom equipment, foreign equipment or used
equipment which has been relocated to a new job site. Our
evaluation services involve specific equipment at a specific job
site. ETI does not label mass production equipment or provide
listings of any items.
AIPIIOlIIH011E • [)[NVIA • Y.ANSASCIIY • IU;ANGfIf; • PIIIONI% • POPJIAII7 • RINO • SAIIIAhffIIV • SAHI71110 • ;ANfRANC6C0 • SfAlll(
