Box 3707 Seattle, WA 98124 SUBJ�CT: OUSTANDING PERMITS (S�1�8 z 3 Dear Leonard: In a recent review of Boeing permits still on our shelves in active-permit status, I compiled a list of permits which have had no request for inspection within the last 180 days. Techn�cally, these permits are ezpiring. I would appreciate your assistance in cluifying the status of these permits. Some are surely finished, and we just need to schedule inspection to document final approvals. Others, if they are for work that is continuing, need either an inspection report documenting progress, or a formal request for cxtension of the permits so that they do not expire. The Uniform Building Code provides that all permits expire by limitation if the work authorized by the permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after work is commenced for a period of 180 days. Enclosed in this packet, you will find the list of outstanding permits, which includes brief descriptions of t6e work permitted under each, the contractor named on the permit, and the date of the last rcquested ins�cction Also enclosed is a copy of each listed permit and iu inspections. I am prepared to send a copy of this letter, the list, and the relevant permits and inspections to each contractor. Through this whole long process of permitting the Boeing expansion, your help with the permits has been invaluable--your courtesy, especially, has been appreciated!
