Technically, these permits are exp'uing. I would appreciate your assistance in clarifying the status of these � permits. Some are surely finished, and we just need to schedule inspection to document final approvals. Others, if they are for work that is continuing, need either an ii�.pection report documenting progress, or a formal request for extension of the permits so that they do not expire. 1'he Uniform Building Code provides that all permits expire by timitation if the work authorized by the permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after work is coaunenced for a period of 180 days. Enclosed in this packct, you will find the list of outstanding permits, which includcs brief - descriptions of the work permitted under each, the contractor named on the peimit, and the date of the last requested inspection. Also enclosed is a copy of each listed permit and its inspections. I am prepared ro send a copy oF this letter, the list, and the releva�it permits and inspections to each contractor.
