Techmcally, these permits are expiring. I would appreciate your assistance in clarifying che status of thesc : permiu. Some are surely fvtished, and we just need to schedule inspection to document final approvals. Others, if they are for work that is continuing, need either an inspection report documenting progress, or a formal request for extension of the petmits so that they do not . expire. The Uniform Building Code provides that all permits ezpire by limitation ►f the wotk authotized by the permit is suspended or abandoned at any time afrer work is commenced fot a period of 180 days. �3� Enclosed in tlus packet, you will find the list of outstanding permits, which includes brief descriptions of the work permitted under each, Q�e contractor named on the permit, and the date of the last requested inspecdon. Also enclosed is a copy of each listed permit and its inspections. I am prepared to send a copy of this letter, the list, and the relevant permits and inspections to each contractor.
