• TNE BOEING COM7ANY
COORDINATION SHET
From: Leonard Astemborski No.: 156
M/S OF-76 Job No.:
266-3563 Date: April 7, 1992
FAX 342-8167
To: Kurt Eichmeier OF-76
CC: Kirk Brooks Everett Public Works
Carroll Tolleison Everett Public Works
SubJect: Biofiltration Swale 40-55 Building
This coordination sheet fs it confirm the verbal agreement between Kirk Brooks,
Carroll Tollefson and Len Astemborski. It was mutualiy agreed that since the City
Standards regarding the frequency oi plantings in biofiltration swales calls for
vegetation plantings to be 1 every linear feet of swale. The biofiltration swale
illustrated does not have a scale or dimension to the bottom measurement othe
swale. The City says the intent of the standard was that the swale illustrated to be
1 foot wide. Most commonly this is true throughout the City by other contractors.
Since Boeing does work on a grand scale and that the swales needed ere larger
than the typical 1 foot wide swale and the interpretation of the standard becomes
foggy. The City is willing to use the irequency of plantings to be 1 plant every two
feet in both directions rather than 1 plant per square foot of bottom swale.
The concept is illustrated below:
