C
(9) The proposal is classified as a major above-ground utility structure and is therefore
not exempt from the Special Property Use permit review process.
(10) This criterion allows the City to require that facilities be designed to accommodate
more than one wireless service provider at a given site. Additional applications for
WCFs on this site would be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. The City has
received an additional application for a WCF on this site(Sl'U#09-005). That
application is currently pending.
(I I) Not applicable--these types of facilities normally do not require safety lights for the
FAA.
(12) The City did not commission an independent third party review of this application
because it found the application to be consistent with the review criteria;is located
on a non-residential structure;and would have adequate screening and separation
from adjacent residential uses.
Conclusion: Based on the above findings, the Specific Evaluation Criteria for major
above-ground utilities have been met.
DECISION: 'I he proposal is approved as submitted subject to compliance with all city,
state and federal regulations. The following conditions shall apply:
I. All panel antennas and cabling shall be painted or otherwise covered to match the
exterior color of the building.
2. Placement ol'antennas shall generally be consistent with the plans on file at the
Planning I)epartmcnt with this application. Minor modifications may be
approved by the Planning Director.
City of Everett building and electrical permits are required prior to the installation
of the antennas.
4. For intimation about specific electric service requirements, please call the
Snohomish County PI II)'s Everett office,at(425)783-8272 to contact a customer
engineer.
This is an administrative decision that is appealable to the City's Land Use [fearing
Examiner. Appeal fonts are available from the Maiming Department Permit Services
Counter located at 32(M)Cedar Street, 2"a Floor, and must be submitted along with the
required filing Ice by 5 p.m. on November 4,2009. If you have any questions, please
call Dave Tyler at (425)257-873I.
•
„FADate: October 21.2009
Allan(iiffenji)
reclor VVVVV
Planning and Community Development Department
3
