Under <br /> Section 17, freestanding signa are now permitted in the B-1 zone sub�ect to <br /> specific regulations. <br /> A site inspection was conducted on February 2, 1990 and it has been determined that <br /> the free standing sign at the southwest corner of your lot is not in compliance <br /> with City regulations as follows: <br /> 1. No permit has been iseued for the construction of the sign which violates <br /> Section 36.050 Permit Requirements. <br /> 2. The height, square footage, and location of the sign doea not meet the <br /> standards as set foreh in Section 36.170 Sign Cate o Requirementa, Category C. <br /> Therefore, we ask that you submit plane and obtain a building permit to relocate <br /> the aign 3n conformance with the zoning requiremente, within 30 days, or by no later <br /> than March 8, 1990. I have enclosed a copy of the Category C sign regulations from <br /> the new zoning ordinance for your convenience. <br /> Please be aware that failure to comply with this ordinance will result in formal <br /> enforcement action.
