CORPUS TIMOTHY & PERRIGO DONNA
Project: Change of occupancy from Bar to Retail
]ob Address; 2608 Colby Ave •
Plan Check No: 61409-007
RE: Corrections Letter
Dear Mr. Kimlee,
In response to the application for a building permit, the plans have been examined and you are
advised that this is an incomplete submittai. Please review and respond to the comments
below. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to
provide the euilding Division with two complete ncw sets of construction documents reFlecting
the corrections requested. Please indude a response letter which indicates how the corrections
vere resolved.
General
1. The drawings are not to scale. Although the drawing is very much improved, it is still
not accurate. Please reference the previously e-mailed plan drawings to create a new
plan to show existing walls and doors last permitted. Any walls or doors not on that
permit would be considered as new, to meet current code, even if built.
2. Please schedule a site visit with me to review the existing basement and discuss the use
of it under this new permit. There are several notes regarding the basement access on
the previously issued plans which should be taken into consideration on this new permit.
All codes cited refer to the 2012 International Building Code (IBC), the 2012 Infernational Fre
Code (IFC), the 2012 International Mechanical Code (IMC), and the 2012 Washington State
Energy Code (WSEC), as amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the Ciry of
Everett. The curret IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the 2009 "Accessible and
Usable E3uildings and Facilities" (ICC/ANSI A117.1). Federal ADA regulations and standards may be
more restrictive. These comments address building issues only. Addilional revisions or additions
may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Traffic, Planning or Fire). All required
submiltals must be of sufficient detail and information to ensure that the proposed strucWre
will be constructed in compliance with all adopted codes.
i erely,
Meg Hale RA
Plan Revie rchitect, 425-257-8813
