With the addition of the following, the <br /> plans are approved. <br /> 1. All food service equipment must be listed by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF�for its <br /> intended use. Storage refrigerators and freezers must be listed under NSF standard#7. <br /> 2. If a food preparation sink is required, it must be listed by NSF for food preparation, be free <br /> standing and have an integral drainboard. <br /> 3. Extra wall protection is required on walls behind sinks and food preparation tables. A 16 inch <br /> high backsplash of plastic Iaminate, fiberglass reinforced plastic, or equal is acceptable. <br /> Plastic coated hardboard is not acceptable. <br /> 4. The Health District operating permit application process must be completed prior to opening <br /> for business. <br /> If there are any significant changes or additions to your layout or equipment, the Snohomish <br /> Health District mu�t be notified. <br /> A preoperational inspection is required prior to opening for business. Please contact the Food <br /> Program office about one week in advance to schedule an appointment. This will ensure <br /> compliance with the Rulec and Regulations of th�State Board of He�ith `�� Food �`p��i�a <br /> Sanitation. <br /> Please contact me if you have any questions.
