The intent oF the ordinance is lo help protect the downtown streetscape and encourage economic development in one of the City's important retail and business centers. This ordinance establishes minimum maintenance requirements for structures in the CBD in an effort to keep the streetscape vibrant and attractive. The ordinance becomes eNective September 1, 2009. A full copy of the ordinance is enclosed with this letter. An addilional letter will be sent in August regarding compliance with this ordinance and how we can best support you in that effort.
