TO -Celia Strong
` 19
FROM Joe Kozlovski y w
DATE June 26, 1979
SUBJECT DELITY MUTUAL
COLB T;JETREE-&_ "` '_... _.
.t 1'e
CITY OF EVERETT. EVERETT. WASHINGTON
Per our telecon Friday, June 22nd, I contacted Ray Eubanks of
Parks Maintenance about relocating the sixteen Colby Avenue S
Pine trees from the sidewalk area to Garfield Park. He staked Su'Z
locations at the park early this mornin o t at we were
to meet Randy Lamb and Dave Oskamp of Baugh Construction at
8:00 at the construction site.
Mr. Lamb has not been successful in getting a landscaper to
have the trees removed for today. We did show him the relocation
at Garfield. We also .instructed 'him on Baugh Construction
responsibility to replant the sixteen trees. I informed him
that until the trees are removed and the pedestrian walkway
asphalted, the job would shut down. I instructed Mr. Lamb to
contact you for getting the stop work order lifted. I told
him of. the City's eagerness in getting the trees removed and
planting bed paved as quickly as possible so that the complaints
we are getting will cease.
Please call Traci at Parks Maintenance for information concerning
the relocation of the sixteen Pines.
cc: Ray Eubanks
Baugh Construction
C
60
P&P
06
c
c'
