The Building Official has found that the building on the above described <br /> property may endanger the life, health, pmperty or safery of the public and is rendered <br /> dangerous pursuant to the provisions of the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings Code, <br /> Sec. 302, noting the following: <br /> 1. The building exists in violation of specific requirements applicable to <br /> such buildings provided b}� the building regulations of this jurisdiction, <br /> as specified in the Building Code and Housing Code as adopted by <br /> Ordinance of this jurisdiction relating to the condition of buildings. <br /> 2. The building has become an attractive nuisance to minors and a harbor <br /> for vagrants. <br /> 3. The building is in such a condition as to constitute a public nuisance <br /> known to the common law or in equity jurisprudence. � <br /> � <br /> III. The above-described building shall either be repaired in accordance with all � <br /> current Building Code requirements and all other applicable codes or demolishcd. <br /> IV. If the owners elect to repair the building in accordance with the current Building . <br /> Code requirements, all required permits must be secureci therefore, and the work �i <br /> physically commenced within sixty (60) days of the date of this Order. All work must ' <br /> be completed within ninety (90) days of the date of this Order. <br /> V. If the owners elect to demolish the building, all required permits shall be <br /> secured therefore within thirty (30) days of the date of this order. Such demolition <br /> must be completed within sixty (60) days from the date of this Order. <br /> VI. Since the building is uninhabitable in its present condition, it shall be kept <br /> secured from unauthorized entry and remain vacant until such time as the building is <br /> repaired in accotdance with the current Buiiding Code or demolished. <br /> VII. If the requirements set forth in Paragraphs IV, V and VI above are not complied � <br /> with, the Ciry of Everett will order the building to remain vacated and proceed to cause � <br /> the building to be demolished and charge the costs thereof against the property and/or <br /> its owners. <br /> VIII. Any petson having any record tiUe or legal interest in the building may appeal <br /> from this Notice and Order to the Housing Advisory and Appeals Board. Such appeal <br /> must be in writing as is required in the Uniform Housing Code and �led with the City <br /> of Evcrett Building Official within thirty (30) days from the date of service of this <br /> Notice and Order. Failure to appeal will constitute a waive:r of all right to an <br /> administrative hearing and determination of the matter. <br />
