Expenditure Required $ 59,869.32 Account Number(s): Amount Budgeted $64,330.20 342 505 0000 410 Additional Required $ -0- DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT: The City of Everett upon recommendation of the Cultural Commission entered into a Professional Services Agreement with artist, Ulrich Pakker for the concept, design, purchase and installation of a water-focused sculpture for the Everett Events Center entry entitled Trivergence. The City and Ulrich Pakker wish to amend and modify this Professional Services Agreement dated 01- 21-04. The amendment will delete language from the Scope of Work described in Exhibit A,which required the artist to furnish items for the fountain structure. These items shall be furnished by the City and installed by the artist. It will also modify paragraph 5(C) to reduce the Total Compensation Amount to the artist. The amendment will reduce the total compensation to the artist so as not to exceed $59,869.32. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign the Amendment to Professional Services Agreement Between the City of Everett and Ulrich Pakker,reducing scope of work by$4,460.88. 17
