The attached agreement <br /> details the PUD's and the City's respective responsibilities pursuant to these utility relocations. As is <br /> normally the case, PUD has agreed to perform the relocations at their expense where their facilities are <br /> presently located within the City's existing public right of way. Per this agreement,however, the City would <br /> agree to assume the cost of the relocations where the PUD's existing facilities are sited within the PUD's <br /> easements adjacent to the 112th Street right of way. The City's cost of relocating the PUD's facilities within <br /> these easement areas would be$119, 648.58. The sources of funds for the relocation work and the other <br /> 112th Street project expenses include a state grant (TIB), Boeing mitigation funds, and other traffic mitigation <br /> funds. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign the 112th Street utility relocation agreement between PUD No. 1 of Snohomish <br /> County and the City of Everett. <br /> 23 <br />
