Expenditure Required $ -0- Account Number(s): Amount Budgeted $ -0- Additional Required $ -0- DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT: The Public Works Department has applied for and received a 2004 Public Works Trust Fund planning loan to help fund the Comprehensive Sewer Plan. The objective of this study is to develop a detailed comprehensive planning document that can be used by City's staff to implement the required improvements to the existing City's facilities and results in an agreed upon Capital Improvement Program (CIP). This study will meet the requirements of Washington Administrative Code(WAC) 173-240-050 with recommendations for sewer improvements and expansion projects,probable construction costs and prioritization of projects. The amount of the loan is$100,000 at zero percent interest and a repayment term of six years. The total cost of the project is $552,390. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign the 2004 Public Works Trust Fund planning loan contract for the Comprehensive Sewer Plan.
