This action <br /> was taken as a prerequisite to the demolition and removal of the building. <br /> As you were made aware in previous wrrespondence from this office, the City of - <br /> Everett is performing emergency abatement on the building, which means that the City <br /> will cause the building to be demolished and removed from the property if the owncr <br /> fails to do so. Therefore, this Haz Mat Repnrt, �ehich is enclosed at your request, is a ' <br /> part of the emergency abatement procedurz, and has resulted in costs of$2,540.00. <br /> On July 8, 1997 a letter was sent to you in h•h�ch you were advised that "any and all <br /> costs incurred by the city as a result of these procedures (emergency abatement <br /> procedures) shall be assessed as a lien against the property." <br /> Although you have expressed your desire to demolish the building and clear it from the <br /> property, I have been directed by Administration to proceed with abatement of the <br /> building, which includes demolition and removal of the building from the property. <br /> If you have any questions, you may call me at 257-8810 between the hours of 7:30 <br /> a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> � �/"� <br /> arian G.
