Wc had met wiih Hall and Kevin I'agcrsirom a few days or wcek beforc We <br /> were toid that i(you submitted plans aacptable to the city within 2 wecks lhey would allo�v the <br /> condemnation posling to come down or at the very Ieast allow you ro posl that the March 28 deadline <br /> had been postponed for 2 weeks.You suhmitted your plans a few days later and I emailed Hall on t�t.�rch <br /> 7 to make sure he had received a copy or had heard from Mr. Lee He responded with the email <br /> attached. <br /> I taiked to Hall on the 14�h or 15�h and he confirmed you had done what you had been asked to do. Hc <br /> said you were acling in good faith and told me that the city would consider"down grading"the notice <br /> or at the very least extending thc deadline by 2 wecks. <br /> On March 16 I sent Hal!an email,copy attached to confirm that he had received a copy of your email to <br /> Tony Lee updat�ng the plans as requested and informin�;him how important it was(or the deadlinc to <br /> be ez�ended and that I was still waiting for the city to do this. As stated in my email I had called and left <br /> a vm for him eariier. 1 received no response and in far.l leit at least 4 morc vm's for him ovcr the next <br /> several day; with no response. I didn't didn'[get a cali trom him un[il March 25, the day the city <br /> removed the posting, 6ut by then you had lost tenants who are now demanding re location fees irom <br /> you of$7000 cach. <br /> Also, thc week of March 21, � talked to Matt [Srady, the atty rcpresen[ing thc tenants and he was <br /> frustrated in that he said he was being to�d by ihe cilv that the deadline would be extended, but it <br /> wasn't happening and the deadline was quickly appr. .hing.As you know the posting didn't corne dov+n <br /> until thB ZS�h,which was a Friday with the deadline the following Monday. Now you have 5 tenants <br /> claiming you owe them 52000 each because they felt like they had to move out even thou�h thr city <br /> ultimately chan�ed the date.This should not h�vc happcned. lecp <br /> G.
