Plans shall clearly indicate the location, nature and extent of the work proposed and show in detail that it will conform to the provisions of the Intemational Residential Code (IRC) and relevant laws, ordinances, rules and regulations. 2. All rooms shall be labeled for thc proposed use. For multiple rc�oms with the same usc, include a number (Bedroom #1, Bedroom �2, etc.). 3. Provide smoke alarms per R314 IRC; show on plans. 4. All habitable rooms are required to have an aggregate glazing area of not less lhan 8 percent of the Floor area for natural light per R303.1 IRC, and 4 percent of the floor area being ventilated. S. Basement, habitable attics and every sleeping room shall have at least one opereble emergency escape and rescue opening / R310 IRC, • All emergency escape and rescue openings shall have a minimum net dear opening of 5.7 sq. fi.
