Jim Iles
From: Larry Crawford
Sent: Wednesday, March 17, 2004 5:31 PM
To: Jim Iles
Subject: FW: Silvertips Pep Rally--March 18, 2004
I suppose someone should have asked the Attorney's office, but
Original Message
From: Karen Shaw
Sent: Wednesday, March 17, 2004 10:38 AM
To: Arlan Hatloe; Marian Krell; Bob Overstreet; Ron Gipson; Mark Olson; Brenda Stonecipher
Cc: Larry Crawford; Mayor Stephanson; Lanie McMullin;Greg Lineberry; Dave Davis; Deb Williams; Daryl Bertholet
Subject: Silvertips Pep Rally--March 18, 2004
To celebrate their Division title win, the Everett Silvertips would like to do a pep rally through the city streets tomorrow,
March 18, 2004, at lunch time.
The plan is to have a mini parade, with rolling street closure, that will include the Silvertips players and coaches, Lincoln
the mascot and the Zamboni (ice maker) preceded and followed by a Police department escort. There may also be a Fire
Truck if that is approved. The "parade would leave the service area of the Event Center, travel north on Broadway to
Everett, Everett to Colby, Colby to Wall and Wall back to the service area of the Center. I have now spoken with Greg
Lineberry of the Police department, Larry Crawford and Dave Davis of the City Staff and Arlan Hatloe of the City Council.
All representatives that I have spoken to are in favor of our winning team being able to "strut their stuff'!
Thanks to all of you for the quick turnaround and support. Please help spread the word and join the team outside during
lunch time tomorrow!
Thanks You,
Karen Shaw
1
