The plan is to have a mini parade, with rolling street closure, that will include the Silvertips players and coaches, Lincoln the mascot and the Zamboni (ice maker) preceded and followed by a Police department escort. There may also be a Fire Truck if that is approved. The "parade would leave the service area of the Event Center, travel north on Broadway to Everett, Everett to Colby, Colby to Wall and Wall back to the service area of the Center. I have now spoken with Greg Lineberry of the Police department, Larry Crawford and Dave Davis of the City Staff and Arlan Hatloe of the City Council. All representatives that I have spoken to are in favor of our winning team being able to "strut their stuff'! Thanks to all of you for the quick turnaround and support.
