10 <br /> CTED Interagency Agreement No. F03-30303-092 <br /> INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT <br /> BETWEEN <br /> DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY, TRADE AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br /> AND <br /> EVERETT POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> 1.0 PARTIES TO THE AGREEMENT <br /> This Agreement is made and entered into by and between the Department of <br /> Community, Trade and Economic Development, hereinafter referred to as "CTED" and <br /> the Everett Police Department hereinafter referred to as "EPD". <br /> WHEREAS, CTED has been provided funds by the United States Department of Justice, <br /> Office on Violence Against Women under authority of Title IV of the Violent Crime Control <br /> and Law Enforcement Act of 1994, Public Law Number 103-322, 108 Stat. 1796 <br /> (September 13, 1994), as reauthorized under the Victims of Trafficking and Violence <br /> Protection Act of 2000 (HR. 3244); and <br /> WHEREAS these funds have been provided to CTED to improve the criminal justice and <br /> community response to violence against women in Washington State; and <br /> WHEREAS, CTED has selected EPD to receive funds by formula through an Application <br /> for Funds process distributed statewide to all eligible organizations; and <br /> WHEREAS, EPD shall use the funds to undertake a project which furthers the goals and <br /> objectives of the grants program in accordance with the program guidelines. <br /> THEREFORE, both parties mutually agree to the following: <br /> 2.0 PURPOSE <br /> Over the course of this Agreement, EPD shall accomplish the services/activities <br /> described in the Statement of Work (Attachment A) and the STOP Formula Grant <br /> Application for FFY 2003 Funding, which is incorporated into this Agreement by <br /> reference. <br /> Allowable activities under the scope of services shall be limited to the eleven program <br /> purpose areas listed on pages five and six in the STOP Formula Grant Application for FFY <br /> 2003 Funding, funding period October 1, 2003 through September 30, 2004, administered <br /> by the Office of Crime Victims Advocacy. As required by federal guidelines, the funds will <br /> be used for one or more of the program purposes. <br /> EPD shall provide and supervise adequate staff to accomplish the activities of this <br /> Agreement. <br /> 72 <br />
