Expenditure Required 1 Account Number(s): -0- Additional ' -• • -0 - DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT: Deaconess Children's Services is requesting the closure of Lombard,Hewitt to California,April 23, 2004, 6 p.m. to April 24,2004,3 p.m.,to set up booths and tents for their Blue Ribbon Block Walk from Hewitt and Lombard to Bond Street via Hewitt and back on April 24, 2004, 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): To approve the closure of Lombard,Hewitt to California, from April 23, 2004, 6 p.m. to April 24, 2004, 3 p.m., to set up booths and tents for a Blue Ribbon Block Walk,which begins at Hewitt and Lombard, proceeds west on Hewitt to Bond Street, and east on Hewitt to Lombard sponsored by Deaconess Children's Services on April 24, 2004, 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.,with the condition that the participants stay on the sidewalk and obey traffic signals, and that there be two flaggers(one certified) at the intersections of Colby, Rucker, and West Marine View Drive and one flagger at each minor intersection. 4
