Expenditure Required $ -0- Account Number(s): Amount Budgeted $ -0- Additional Required $ -0- DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT: The City of Everett has an agreement with Botesch, Nash & Hall to hire Elevator Consulting Services, Inc. to prepare a design and specifications to modernize the Everpark Garage elevator and provide on- site construction inspection services. A contract has recently been signed with Vertical Transportation Services to modernize the elevator through the Small Works contract process. The construction is expected to take 150 calendar days to complete. TheProfessionalServices Agreement completion date needs to be extended from October 10, 2003 to August 30, 2004 to cover on-site construction inspection services provided by Elevator Consulting Services, Inc. throughout the duration of the project. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement between the City of Everett and Botesch,Nash &Hall Architects, P.S. changing the completion date to August 30, 2004. 1J
