AMERICAN POWER BOAT ASSOCIATION <br /> 2001 LIABILITY BENEFITS SUMMARY <br /> DECEMBER 1, 2000 TO DECEMBER 1, 2001 <br /> The 2001 event liability program provides$5,000,000 CSL liability coverage for a set up day immedi- <br /> ately before and a tear down day immediately after the regatta event at no additional charge when <br /> reported on the application and when the event liability premium is paid. Qualifying trials are <br /> considered event days and require payment of premium as outlined in the APBA Rules and Regulations. <br /> Non-racing activities: <br /> • <br /> All non-racing activities including mall shows,swap meets,boat displays,social functions, <br /> fairs,and festivals should be submitted to American Specialty for approval and premium <br /> quotation.Applications may be requested through American Specialty. <br /> Premium during non-racing activities will be subject to a $200 per event minimums <br /> Liquor Liability: • <br /> Liquor liability is mandatory if alcoholic beverages are being sold by an APBA club. <br /> Applications for liquor liability should be submitted to American Specialty for approval and <br /> premium quotation. <br /> Liquor liability is subject to a minimum premium in accordance with individual <br /> fi state regulations. <br /> Non-owned Aircraft: <br /> Non-owned and hired aircraft coverage is excluded from the 2001 event liability program. <br /> All unlimited and offshore events must complete the non-owned and hired aircraft portion of <br /> the 2001 Regatta Application and American Specialty must be provided with a certificate of <br /> insurance from the aircraft owner proving a minimum of$1,000,000 CSL liability coverage. <br /> Regatta applications should be sent with the appropriate premium to the regional chairperson. The regional <br /> chairperson should then fonvard the insurance application and premium to the APBA no less than 45 days <br /> before the event. All race directors should check with landowners regarding deadlines for proof of <br /> coverage for use of the event site. <br /> All claims should be submitted to American Specialty Insurance Services,Inc.by completing an APBA <br /> incident report.The incident report may be faxed to the attention of APBA Claims,(219)673-129.Inci- <br /> dents involving spectators or fatal injuries or transport of a person should be reported immedi- <br /> ately to the APBA claims hotline at 800-566-7941.This line is available 24 hours a day.Please <br /> notify the APBA of all incidents. <br /> PROGRAM ADMINISTERED BY: American Specialty Insurance Services, Inc. <br /> P.O.
