RESOLUTION NO. 5578 <br /> A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING CHANGE ORDER AUTHORITY ON <br /> THE 41st STREET OVERCROSSING PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS,the City contracted with Wilder Construction Company to construct the 41St Street <br /> Overcrossing—Structure (W.O. #2595 Federal Aid#HP-1998(015)) and Everett Riverfront <br /> Walkway (W.O. #2697 Federal Aid#STPE-EN94(013)) (the "40 St. Project"); and <br /> WHEREAS, additional or changed work often occurs on construction projects; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance 2761-04 allows City Council to authorize the Mayor or his or her <br /> designee to direct the contractor to perform additional work and to execute change orders by <br /> passing a resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, efficient management of the 41st St. Project requires such authorization; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT that: <br /> The Mayor or his or her designee is hereby authorized to direct the contractor perform additional <br /> work and to execute change orders to the extent that the cumulative total of such change orders <br /> do not exceed Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($600,000.00). <br /> /,r , /12-L.-- <br /> Councilman Intrad ing Resolution <br /> Council President <br /> Passed and approved this 12day of January , 2005 <br />
