,1?6/%fml <br /> teei <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 5433 <br /> A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Everett setting a Special Meeting, <br /> Public Hearing and Workshop before City Council on February 18, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. to <br /> consider proposed 2004 activities and budget for the Downtown Everett Business <br /> Improvement Area (BIA) and to provide that notice of the hearing and budget be sent to <br /> property owners in the BIA. <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Everett is in receipt of the Downtown Everett Association's <br /> proposed budget for calendar year 2004 for the Downtown Everett Business Improvement Area <br /> (BIA); and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to set a time for a special meeting, workshop and <br /> public hearing thereon. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF EVERETT <br /> Section 1: That the City Council shall hold a special meeting, public hearing and workshop <br /> on February 18, 2004, at 6:00 p.m., in the Everett City Council Chambers, to consider the <br /> proposed 2004 activities and budget, attached and hereby made a part of this resolution as <br /> Exhibit A. <br /> Section 2: The City Clerk shall provide for publishing this resolution as may be provided by <br /> law, and further, that a notice of the hearing and workshop and a copy of this resolution shall be <br /> mailed to the owners or reputed owners of real property and buildings located within the <br /> proposed BIA area whose names appear as the owners of such property on the records of the <br /> City Treasurer, or if no address appears there, on the tax rolls of the Snohomish County <br /> Assessor, and at the addresses for such owners as shown on such tax rolls, such mailing to be <br /> made prior to the hearing and workshop as may be required by law. <br /> Section 3: This resolution does not constitute adoption or approval of the proposed 2004 <br /> BIA Budget, and the City Council, after the special meeting, workshop and public hearing on <br /> February 18, 2004 (or at conclusion of any continuance thereof)may approve an annual BIA <br /> budget different from the proposed 2004 annual BIA budget attached and made a part of this <br /> resolution. <br /> Councilpers n Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this 28th day of <br /> January, 2004. <br /> uncil President <br />
