01/4S1"1 <br /> RESOLUTION No. 5402 <br /> RESOLUTION for Expenditure of Human Needs Funding <br /> WHEREAS, the City allocates funding each year to be used for human services <br /> programs; and <br /> WHEREAS, $286,410 is included in the 2004 budget for this purpose; and <br /> WHEREAS, there exists in the community a need for monies to supplement human services <br /> programs; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Human Needs Advisory Committee, formed to make recommendations to the <br /> City Council for allocation of these funds annually, has voted to recommend funding as listed <br /> below; <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE EVERETT CITY COUNCIL that the <br /> Mayor or his designee be authorized to execute a contract with each of the listed agencies in the <br /> amount specified for the purpose stated: <br /> 1) ARC of Snohomish County-- Emergency Food and Shelter $ 8,500 <br /> 2) ARC of Snohomish County-- Financial Management $ 5,000 <br /> 3) ARC of Snohomish County-- Medical Dental Assistance $10,500 <br /> 4) ARC of Snohomish County-- Parenting Support $ 3,000 <br /> 5) Bridgeways -- Case Management for Adults with Chronic Mental <br /> Illness in Residential Program $ 4,000 <br /> 6) Boys &Girls Clubs-- SMART Moves $ 4,000 <br /> 7) Catholic Community Services -- Family and Children's Services $ 7,500 <br /> 8) Catholic Community Services-- Helpers of People With AIDS $ 2,500 <br /> 9) Catholic Community Services -- Volunteer Chore Services $10,000 <br /> 10) Center For Career Alternatives-- Career Readiness $ 6,000 <br /> 11) Cocoon House -- Emergency Shelter and Food $11,000 <br />
